Union chiefs are questioning the Isle of Man Post Office's integrity, honour and credibility, after it said there was no record of a pay agreement.
The Communication Workers Union says it has a full paper and email trail of the 2009 agreement, and that members were balloted on the matter.
Earlier this week the Post Office stated it has no record of the agreement, and that the CWU were unable to produce evidence that it existed.
The Union's members, over half of the staff at the Post Office, are currently being balloted over the pay dispute.
The Post Office says it can't increase salaries because of the Government pay freeze.
