Safety checks are being carried out on electric blankets across the Island this week.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is carrying out the tests for free, starting in Castletown Civic Centre today.
Tomorrow the officers will be at Ramsey Swimming Pool, and on Wednesday they'll be testing at the NSC in Douglas.
Appointments for a safety check can be booked in 647303, or you can drop-in.
A high proportion of electric blankets have failed safety tests on the Island in previous years.
