Police seek witnesses to assault

Police are investigating after a woman was assaulted in Douglas.

It happened over a week ago but detectives have only released details this afternoon.

The woman, who's in her mid 20s, was attacked in Market Street near to the back of Marks and Spencer at around 1am on Sunday 6th February.

No details have been given about the assault itself or the perpetrator.

Police think two people who were walking in the area and a cyclist may have witnessed the incident.

They say several taxis drove along Market Street and also ask the drivers or passengers to come forward.
