Railway workers angry over job cuts are staging a demonstration outside the Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
They're highlighting concern over the loss of around 22 posts from the Transport section of the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
There's criticism that Minister David Cretney and the department's managers haven't properly explored other areas where money can be saved.
The workers turned out this morning with placards as politicians were arriving at the Tynwald sitting.
One sign read 'Cretney decides rail workers are surplus staff.'
