Six teenagers from QE2 High School in Peel are about to set off on an adventure to the Gambia.
The pupils won the trip after the school raised over £27,000 for charity.
The year 10 and 11 pupils and their teacher leave the Island today to travel to the Gambian capital Banjul.
Once in the poverty stricken country , they will work with the charity Concern Universal which focuses on helping the local people to help themselves.
