It'll be another couple of months before work to patch up the Island's weather-damaged roads is finished.
Department of Infrastructure member Graham Cregeen told the House of Keys today that 2,000 potholes have been repaired in recent weeks.
Nine DOI teams are working overtime to fix the damage caused by freezing temperatures.
Mr Cregeen says dangerous potholes take priority and then the busiest roads are next in line for patching works.
He says a list has been drawn up for areas where there are serious problems. [play audio file below]
