20th fuel theft since September

Police in Onchan are investigating the theft of a substantial amount of diesel.

The theft occured overnight on Tuesday from a commercial premises in the Tromode area of Braddan and Police believe it could be linked to other major fuel thefts in recent months.

A vehicle was used to transport the stolen diesel and Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious.

This is the 20th reported theft of either diesel or heating oil since September, and PC Tony Lawler has this advice [play clip]
