The Isle of Man Post Office has released a statement about the proposed strike action by its workers.
They say they're disappointed that the Communication Workers Union is considering balloting its members and that the Island is currently in a difficult fiscal position that's being felt by all parts of the economy.
The dispute revolves around workers belief that they were promised a share in any profits the company made in the previous financial year.
Strikes would undoubtedly have an effect on the whole island, Energy FM news asked the people of Douglas what they thought:
