The Infrastructure Minister has been explaining that the new road surface at Richmond Hill is a danger to motorcyclists.
The crawler lane has been coned of whilst works to correct a ridge in the newly laid tarmac are carried out.
Phil Gawne says, despite these problems, the project is still within budget.
It's believed there would be a danger for bikers once the speed limit is increased to 50 miles per hour.
A temporary speed limit of 30 has been in place since the works began last February.
Mr Gawne explained this has also been an issue recently [play clip]
