A group of Manx residents will be recognised at this year's Maundy Service at Westminster Abbey.
The Bishop of Sodor and Man was asked to select 40 people from the Island who would be suitable recipients of the Maundy purse.
The specially minted money is awarded by the Queen to those who have provided a valuable service to their church or community.
This year, there will be a total of 85 males and 85 women being given the money.
The recipients from the Island haven't been named yet, but Reverand John Coldwell from St Ninian's Church told Energy FM what type of people are considered [play clip]
