The Department of Health says there's now an official shortage of the seasonal flu vaccine on the Island.
Last week it was available in GP surgeries and most pharmacies.
Stocks were also due to arrive on the Island.
However since then, supplies here have dwindled and there're problems getting more of the drug in because of shortages in the UK.
Last week, government stockpiles of the swine flu vaccine were released and can be used its place.
It's being offered to over 65s and people with diseases that make them more vulnerable to flu.
Those who don't have underlying health problems are told not to request the vaccine.
