Prosecution witnesses have been taking the stand today in the trial of Trevor Baines former advocate.
Jenny Holt denies doing acts against public justice, entering into an agreement and falsifying or concealing documents.
She acted on behalf of the former tycoon in 2009 when he was convicted of laundering millions of pounds.
It's alleged Miss Holt tampered with file notes during the case and acted dishonestly in handling the transfer of money Baines made from a trust fund.
Earlier this week, Baines pleaded guilty to stealing £400,000 from Hermitage Trust Limited.
Today, a witness said he was suprised at the lack of supervision of Miss Holt by advocates at law firm Marony's.
Miss Holt was said to be inexperienced and had never been in charge of a criminal case.
The trial continues.
