Plans have been announced for roadworks to begin this month at one of the Island's busiest junctions.
The scheme at the Quarterbridge will take six weeks to complete and will involve two temporary weekend road closures.
It's due to get underway on 24th January.
The work will include measures to make the area safer for pedestrians, resurfacing of the mini roundabouts and alterations to the kerb lines to give wider lanes for large vehicles.
The project will need extensive traffic management which, as well as the two weekend closures, will involve narrow lanes and temporary traffic lights.
The Department of Infrastructure apologises for any inconvenience the works will cause but say they are important for improving safety for road users.
