The trial of a local advocate accused of dishonesty offences will continue today.
Jenny Holt worked for corrupt former tycoon Trevor Baines.
She's charged with doing acts against public justice, entering into an agreement and falsifying or concealing documents.
Miss Holt denies the offences.
Yesterday, the prosecution alleged she may have become too close to Baines and his wife and naively turned a blind eye to their dishonesty.
Earlier this week, Baines pleaded guilty to stealing £400,000 from Hermitage Trust Limited.
It was to pay for his legal representation in a previous court case.
The prosecution claims Baines was able to clear the funds by telling the holding bank that the money was being used to buy Douglas Harbour.
Miss Holt's trial continues.
