Teenage girl missing from home

Peel police are appealing for help in tracing a missing teenage girl.

Katie Thomas, who's 14 and from Kirk Michael, has been missing since Friday although she was seen in Douglas on Saturday afternoon.

Police say she has also been in telephone contact but is refusing to return home.

Katie is 5'ft 2" tall, medium build with dyed dark red hair.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey and purple 'Lonsdale' hooded top and grey woollen boots.

Anyone with information on the teenager's whereabouts is asked to call Peel police on 842208.
