Cyclist hospitalised after collision

A cyclist has been hospitalised following a collision in Onchan.

The male was travelling towards Laxey on Whitebridge Hill when he collided with a hedge and came off the bike yesterday lunchtime.

As a result the road was closed for around half an hour whilst police and ambulance crews dealt with the cyclist.

It's believed the male was suffering an illness which caused him to crash.
