Public opinion sought on Marine Nature Reserve

A public consultation has been launched on a marine nature reserve in Ramsey Bay.

The Manx Marine Nature Reserve Project, originally put forward by the Manx Fish Producers' Organisation, has now developed into a formal proposal.

The launch of the consultation follows the announcement that the area of special scientific interest in Ramsey Marina has been rescinded.

The relevant documents can be found on the government's website.

Those wishing to comment have until February 28th.
