A warning has been issued against keeping farm animals as pets.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is reminding the Manx public to think of the legal requirements of keeping such an animal, as well as the safety issues.
The Department warns some farm animals can become aggressive towards humans as they mature.
There is a growing trend for keeping livestock as pets, both on the Island and in the UK.
All livestock keepers must follow the same regulations as farmers.
More details can be found on the Department's website
