MEDS reminder ahead of festive holiday

Doctors at A&E and MEDS are urging patients to think about which service is most appropriate for them before attending.

The Department of Health is issuing the reminder ahead of a series of public holidays over the festive season, when many GP surgeries will be closed.

Anyone requiring a GP urgently should contact the Manx Emergency Doctors Service.

Accident and Emergency at Noble's is only designed to deal with patients with injury or severe illness.

Those displaying the symptoms of norovirus are reminded not to attend the hospital.
