Council gives permission for Elton show

Douglas Borough Council has confirmed it has given permission for Noble's Park to host Sir Elton John's concert in June next year.

The Council had raised concern that the show was being promoted and tickets had gone on sale before they had spoken to the promoter of the event.

However the Council's Lesiure Services Committee says it's delighted one of the world's biggest entertainers is coming to the Island, and that they fully support the use of Noble's Park for the event.

Elton John is due to perform on the Island on June 16th
