Unemployment falls in November

Unemployment fell on the Island during November.

1.7% of the economically active population were out of work at the end of last month.

That percentage represents 735 people, 18 fewer than in October.

The figure has been welcomed by the Treasury, which had aimed to keep unemployment below 3.5% this year.
