New facilities for the Island's cadets are a step closer thanks to £20,000 from the Cadet Association.
The Chief Executive of the North West of England and Isle of Man Reserve Forces and Cadet Association presented the cheques to Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw at the weekend.
The Department of Home Affairs provides annual funding to the Island's cadets.
The money will be put towards replacing the MacFadyn Cadet Centre in Tromode, which has now reached the end of its useful life.
