Chief Secretary pay is "immoral"

The Liberal Vannin Party says the civil servants are setting the agenda not the politicians.

The Party is unhappy with the salary package being offered to the new Chief Secretary.

Leader of the Party, MHK Peter Karran, believes it's immoral that a review into the level of pay wasn't carried out.

Current Chief Secretary Mary Williams is set to retire at the end of the year, with an announcement on her succesor expected shortly.
