Shipping Register amongst the world's best

The Island's Ship Register has been named one of the best in the world.

According to a leading performance table, only six registers recorded no negative indicators, including the Isle of Man.

Germany, France, Denmark, Norway and Greece were the others to meet all 19 criteria.

The Department of Economic Development, which is responsible for the ship register, says it's an important endorsement
