No decision has been taken on whether the Isle of Man will get an extra bank holiday next year.
The UK has announced its residents will get Friday 29th April off work, in order to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The matter will be considered by the Council of Ministers, and an announcement made once a decision has been made.
Earlier this year, the Manx Government confirmed the Island's residents will get an extra day off in 2012, to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee.
As British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II is also the Lord of Mann, a title which will become Prince William's when he becomes King.
