Minister seeks approval for road works funding

Almost £1million is set to be spent on the Island's roads.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne is to ask Tynwald to approve £900,000 worth of spending on highway refurbishment.
Mr Gawne will ask for £400,000 for works on Mines Road in Foxdale and Victoria Road in Douglas.
He'll also ask for up to £500,000 for the refurbishment of unclassified roads programme.
Tynwald will vote on the spending when it sits next week.
