Diesel thieves target north of Island

Police in the north of the Island are investigating two diesel thefts.

A large quantity of both red and normal diesel has been stolen from oil tanks at Glascoe Beg Farm in Bride at some point in the past six weeks.

The second incident occured overnight on Monday this week, when the fuel cap to a wagon parked in Island Aggregates at the Point of Ayre was forced and the fuel tank emptied.

Anyone who can help officers with either investigation is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
