The Home Affairs Minister says there's no plan to introduce Sarah's law on the Isle of Man.
Adrian Earnshaw doesn't think the UK law -which allows parents to ask police if those in contact with their children have sex offence convictions - would work on the Island.
Mr Earnshaw also revelaed that there are currently 29 people on the Island's sex offenders register.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran suggests that a seperate register just for paedophiles should be established.
Mr Earnshaw says the current system on the Island works well [play clip]
