Pedestrian injured on Woodbourne Road

A pedestrian needed hospital treatment after her foot was run over in Douglas.

The female was using the pedestrian crossing on Woodbourne Road in the direction of St Ninian's when a blue coloured Renault Clio drove over her foot.

Although her injuries were not serious, she was taken to Noble's Hospital.

The collision happened at around 5.15 on Saturday evening, when officers believe the area would have been busy.
