A campaign to improve awareness of driving in foggy conditions has been launched by the Department of Infrastructure and the Roads Policing Unit.
The aim of the campaign is to remind motorists to use their fog lights, and switch them off again when the fog clears.
Over the last three years there have been 15 accidents on the Island's roads as a result of fog.
Drivers are also being encouraged to check all their lights are in working order, and ensure they know which switch operates their fog lights.
