Liberal Vannin calls ASSI meeting

The Liberal Vannin Party is calling on members of the public to attend a meeting on the proposed area of special scientific interest in Ramsey estuary.

The proposals for the area are currently out to public consultation.

The Party's meeting is to take place two weeks after the closing date for submissions.

It's thought any ASSI in the estuary would have an effect on plans for a marina in Ramsey harbour.

The meeting takes place in the Mitre in Ramsey at 8.00pm on November 8th.
