The Island's police officers have spent the first week of October taking part in a highly visible crack down on crime.
Eight arrests were made as a result for offences including assaults, drugs offences and failing to appear in court.
Police presence was maintained at the Sea Terminal throughout the week, alongside Customs and Excise.
Over the week, around £5000 worth of unpaid fines were recovered, drugs suspected to be cocaine and mephedrone were seized and over 80 vehicles were stopped and checked.
Officers say it's been the most successful operation of its kind to date.
