A rider critically injured during Manx Grand Prix has been able to leave hospital.
22 year old Olie Linsdell crashed at Bishopscourt, and was flown to Walton neurological centre in Liverpool, where he remained in intensive care for a week and a half.
The Bedfordshire rider has now started taking walks to re-build his stamina after 37 days in hospital and surgery on his knee.
His mother Carole released a statement, thanking Olie's fans for their support.
She said Olie wants to thank the medical staff both on Island and in Liverpool, the Marshals and Helicopter medics.
