Flu vaccine protects against swine flu

This year's flu vaccination is to offer protection against swine flu.

The Island's Department of Health is preparing for its seasonal flu vaccination program.

The jab offers protection against the three most common forms of the flu virus, the most common currently being swine flu.

Another change this year is that the vaccine is being offered to all pregnant women.

Patients are urged to discuss the vaccine with their GPs
