The Isle of Man Commonwealth games committee have confirmed the team will be heading to the games in India this weekend as planned.
The preparations for the games have been blighted by reports of squalid accomodation for the teams and a bridge collapsing yesterday injuring 28 people, five of them critically.
In a seperate incident a further 27 people were injured when a suspended ceiling collapsed in the weightlifting arena.
The team are set to fly out to Delhi this weekend for the games to start in 11 days time.
The thirty-three member team is the largest the Island has ever taken to a Commonwealth Games.
