Pope Benedict 16th is visiting the UK over the next 4 days, he'll be received by the queen at Holyrood house in Edinburgh before moving on to Glasgow, London and Birmingham.
The visit has been met with plenty of controversy from certain groups due to the pontiff's vocal views on subjects such as homosexuality, abortion and ordaining women priests.
Father Brian Dougherty from St Mary's church in Douglas has welcomed the visit and believes that all high profile events have the potential to cause tension.
