Isle of Man Steam Packet Company passengers have raised thousands of pounds for the benefit of safety at the TT.
The donation to the Rob Vine Fund of £14,000 was raised through collection buckets on board the Company’s vessels during the TT period, and will go towards medical and rescue equipment used around course. Since the initiative started in 1997 around £155,000 pounds has been raised.
Rob Vine, a regular TT competitor from Dover in Kent lost his life at Black Dub in the 1985 Senior Races.
