Chief Minister Tony Brown has admitted to Energy FM News that the close cultural connections with the UK were a major factor in agreeing the reciprocal health agreement.

The agreement was signed this morning by the UK health under secretary Anne Milton and Manx Health Minister David Anderson MHK after being tabled in Westminster.

The agreement is ongoing with no fixed end date although a change in UK Goverment could cause a review of the agreement [play clip]
