Car safety campaign launched

The dept of Infrastructure's road safety unit has launched it's annual car safety campaign.

The campaign is to raise awareness of the need for appropriate safety seats for children and how to fit them correctly.

By law children up to the age of 12 are required to use either a car seat or booster seat appropriate to there weight and height.

The campaign has been launched to coincide with children returning to school for the new term tomorrow.
