4 houses burgled in Douglas

Police are investigating a number of burglaries in Douglas.

3 houses were broken into between Tuesday and Thursday this week, all while the owners were in the property.

A 4th unoccupied building was burgled in Willaston over the bank holiday weekend.

A small amount of cash and minor domestic items were stolen in the raids.

Police are reminding people to keep doors and windows locked when they go to bed and to be extra vigilant when they leave homes unattended.
