Three people had to be rescued by the Isle of Man Coastguard yesterday after they got into trouble in Douglas bay.
The teenagers had wandered out to the Tower of Refuge just after low tide and got into trouble trying to return to the beach.
The Coastguard mobile patrol in full immersion gear were on the scene within minutes of getting the call and rescued the people into a patrol boat.
The three people were checked over by Coastguard officers but did not need hospital treatment.
