Inquest opens for retired Doctor

The inquest into the death of a retired Laxey GP has been formally opened this morning.

The body of Dr David Wallace Young was found last Monday by his wife at his home on Ramsey Road in Laxey.

The pathologist report concluded that Dr Young died from an incised wound to the left side of his groin.

Police investigations are still ongoing, however they're not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.
