The coroner of inquests has criticised a Laxey pub for continuing to supply alcohol to a man who sustained a fatal injury whilst drunk.
Alistair Montgomorie criticised staff at the Bridge Inn pub in Laxey for over supplying alcohol to Adam Hobson in March when he was already extremely drunk.
Forty five year old Mr Hobson sustained blunt force trauma to the head later that night and died as a result.
The pub will be reported to the Isle of Man licensing board.
Mr Montgomerie recorded a verdict of accidental death.
