Jury considers verdict for third day

The jury in the Demesne Road murder trial will continue their deliberations this morning.

The twelve jurors have so far been unable to reach an agreement on the nine charges facing Simon Paul Leece.

They retired at lunchtime on Tuesday.

Leece is alleged to have set four fires in the area around his home on Fairfield Terrace in March last year.

Sixty one year old Terry Losh died in the blaze on Demesne Road.

Leece faces charges of murder, manslaughter and multiple arson counts.
