The Demesne Road murder trial has been hearing how the man accused of starting the fatal blaze had attended courses about fires.
Simon Paul Leece, who worked for Age Concern at Cummal Mooar in Ramsey, was the fire warden for the centre.
As part of his training he attended two course which taught him how fires were started, what different types of fire there are and how to put them out.
Leece denies starting four fires over a weekend in March last year.
The blaze on Demesne Road resulted in the death of Terry Losh.
The trial continues tomorrow when the jury will visit the scene of the fires for a second time.
