Motorists warned about speed

Police are urging drivers in the vicinity of the Glen Lough campsite to obey the temporary speed restrictions during this weekend's music festival.

There have been reports of drivers ignoring the speed limit and putting pedestrians and themselves in danger as they enter or leave the area.

Police say there are officers in the area enforcing the temporary measures and any found to be contravening the speed limit or driving dangerously will be dealt with appropriately.
