Jury to look of fire locations

Jurors in the Demesne Road murder trial will be taken to the scenes of the fires this morning.

35 year old Simon Paul Leece is accused of starting three minor fires on Clark Street, Peveril Street and Bucks Road, as well as the fatal fire on Demesne Road.

61 year old builder Terry Losh died in the fire in March last year.

Leece denies 1 charge of murder and 7 arson charges.

Yesterday the prosecution opened its case, and showed CCTV of Leece walking in the area at the time of three of the fires.

The court also heard his footprint was found in the house of Peveril Street where a fire was started.
