The Chief Minister has been meeting one of the UK politicians responsible for the relationship between the Crown Dependencies and the British Government.
Tony Brown was in London on Monday for a meeting with Lord McNally, the Minister of State for Justice.
The Lib Dem peer serves in the Ministry headed by Lord Chancellor Kenneth Clarke.
Lord McNally has visited the Island on a number of occasions.
Mr Brown says the meeting was a positive one, and that the Island enjoys a good relationship with the Ministry of Justice.
