Witnesses sought to Handley's crash

A van driver who was hospitalised following a crash on the TT course is not thought to be in a life threatening condition.

The 52 year old Ballaugh man was driving the Volkswagen Caddy Van involved in the collision at Handley's Corner.

A 72 year old Andreas man, who was driving a Volvo 340, was taken to Noble's for observation.

The road was closed for around four hours whilst police carried out investigations.

The fire service was also called to the scene to cut the Volkswagen driver from his vehicle, and assist in the removal of the vehicles.

The Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who saw either of the vehicles at the time of the crash.
