The Chief Minister says he's confident the UK will agree a new Reciprocal Health Agreement with the Isle of Man.
Tony Brown told Tynwald this morning that a draft agreement has been made, and that the Manx Government is waiting for the UK to agree to it.
The current arrangements are due to expire at the end of September.
The Reciprocal Health Agreement means residents of the Isle of Man and the UK are entitled to free healthcare on both nations.
The current Tynwald sitting is the last time the Island's parliament will meet before the agreement expires.
